Chico Party Confetti

Confetti Party Headquarters started in 1987 as a brick and mortar building; selling party supplies.

We were founded by a woman Linda Crawford. Linda got the idea from her daughter Laura after a family trip to Disneyland.  Laura had discovered little bottles of fairy dust in one of the Disney Stores and was enamored.

From then on we knew the name would be Confetti.

Before the internet, Confetti Party Headquarters was a store which carried all kinds of party supplies.

In 1991, Laura was away at college and called home to tell Linda about the “new” thing called the world wide web and that we  should have a website.

At that point I didn’t quite know white the internet was or would be but with help. registered  my first domain name of www.ChicoParty.com

A wonderful mentor, Sherry Gillis, built a one page website for us focusing on the things we carried. As confetti was one of those items and our name was confetti we came up first in the search engines of the day.

After the site went live we received our first order from a company in New York City. They ordered $576.00 dollars worth of confetti. This was my light bulb moment.  Confetti would be our niche, our core product.

I had the webdesigner redo the site, expanding to 5 pages and focusing on Confetti.

The rest is history. Today we supply confetti and glitter all over the world.

A handful of creative women create beautiful mixes, unusual blends and special glitters.

Linda still owns and runs the company along with a team of ladies.
